I would like to first, and foremost, thank Jeff and Carolina Drone Academy for the exceptional FAA 107 UAS course that I took part in! The professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly to me...ease of which Jeff communicated the material made it seem like I was more than ready to pass my examination when I walked out of the class (which I was...and most certainly did)! The level of personal interest in your success is taken to the highest level...before, during, and even after you walk out the door! Do yourself a favor and give them a call, you’ll be glad you did!

After trying other courses and online stuff, your class by far was the only one that is actually helpful and explains the information in a functional way that people can actually comprehend.

Class was very engaging. Material was well thought out. There was a lot of material covered, but it was at a good pace to understand and comprehend. Enjoyed every moment of it!

Prior to the course, I attempted to study and review part 107 materials on my own. I struggled to make any sense or truly understand the content. Now, having taken the Carolina Drone Academy course, the material makes so much sense, and I feel that I truly understand the concepts of the FAA. 

Good content - easy to follow. Course was good. I'm not super interested in drones, but presenter was great. 

I highly recommend Carolina Drone Academy! Jeff's knowledge and expertise, combined with the ability to break down the material to a level that anyone can understand was so helpful to me. I'm sure it's what helped me pass my part 107 exam. Jeff is also very patient with his students and genuinely cares about their success. Great class. I was enrolled last minute, and was very impressed with how easy it was to pick up the material. Instructor was able to convey the material very effectively. 

Well laid out training manual. Doing the quizzes after each section and then taking the practice test helps reinforce the concepts.

I wanted to take an opportunity to tell you how much I appreciated Carolina Drone Academy’s  classroom part 107 prep program. After taking the classroom program, I realize how much harder this would have been to do it online or to just blindly study the necessary material. Your program was thorough, concise and the instruction was clear. Afterward, I was able to study the air chart section briefly and sit for the test passing with a 94.

 I just wanted to check in with you and thank you for the class we did in January in Columbia. 

I took the Part 107 test last week and passed with 87%. I felt very well prepared for the test and there were only two questions that I saw that I don’t think you specifically addressed during the class but I was able to figure it out. It very well could have been covered in the practice test but I didn’t go through all 300 questions. 

Your class was vital in making sure I was ready to take the test and the pace and material felt just right. My supervisor is very happy that we’re expanding our video capabilities with drone footage and I’m looking forward to putting these new skills to use. Thanks again!

This is a very informative class. I learned a lot of info. I like the laid back atmosphere during class. Very easy learning environment. 

Every aspect of the instruction and material well conceived, crisply and clearly executed. I really liked the thought and emphasis placed on retention aspects - specifically the manual note taking. Great balance between notes given vs notes taken. 

Had training with Jeff on flying drones. Was a great experience! It was very informative and got to spend a lot of time flying. I now feel comfortable getting started. I knew nothing about the 107 Exam prior to this course and was taught all information needed. 

Material was well covered. The class provided more content than anticipated & expectations were high. Small class set up provided more interaction, depth, review and overall content than other courses. I got a great deal out of it. Look forward to continued training and course offerings.

Carolina Drone Academy is great! I took the two day FAA Part 107 course to prepare for the UAG Exam. Without Jeff Hemming's class I would have been lost come exam time. He helped me to not only prepare to pass the exam but to begin my drone videography career with the confidence and knowledge necessary to be a successful and safe drone pilot. Awesome course. Did an excellent job explaining the material. It's a load of info, but was made relevant, and I feel much more confident going to take the exam now. 

Jeff was great. Good ability to add real world experience to help understand the book concepts.
